Sunday we had a great time with family and neighbors at the Fire Muster Parade. Even Murphy was there!

We were at the cabin the last two weekends. Labor Day weekend was a family weekend and all of the kids had a blast together!

Last weekend was beautiful, especially on Saturday. We were able to enjoy lots of time in the sun and spent a good part of the day on “Florida Point”. Joe and I were putting the basketball hoop back together and found out that we had it backwards 🙂 Joey and Logan were able to get some good playing time in that weekend.

Joey rescued a Frisbee that had floated away. We were proud of him for not being scared to go out so far!!
Labor Day weekend. The grand kids were able to have some fun together. Grandma and Grandpa visited on Saturday. Many of us enjoyed the quiet when Mike and the kids went on a golf cart ride 🙂
The “grown ups” had a good time once the kids were down up at Dave and Vicki’s!! Having Nix and Jen up is always fun.
We woke to some fog on Sunday morning and enjoyed a (cold) swim back on Florida Point later in the afternoon. The kids weren’t phased!
I don’t know of any significant amount of water in our front yard. If there is a monsoon coming, Joey is ready for it 🙂
We spent a few days with Sean, Heather, and the boys. We had a good time in the water, doing crafts, making smores, and eating ice cream 🙂

Today is a perfect day for playing outside with water!
The kids were good for her, they even let her take a nap today 🙂
My favorite part is when Dan and LeAnn took the kids for a little while so that we could go out for dinner. Then we came back to share ice cream cake. Thanks you two!
We were supposed to be in Fulda with Marc and Genell but homework had me grounded. We managed to have a good time though!

While Elizabeth was buying her new American Doll at MOA, Joey and I went on some rides.
We ended the weekend with a family reunion with the Hess family and dinner with my Mom, Dad, and Grandparents. We took pictures of Grandma Hess with her children and all of the great and great grandchildren.
We all had a great time a couple of weeks ago at the cabin!! We spent a hot Saturday on Florida Point, and a night at Dave’s bar which is a guaranteed good time 🙂
