Gramps and I go to Phoenix for Spring Training

We tried to make it to Florida to see the Twins but the flights were full. With a little help from Artur and Justin (thanks guys!) we flew into Tucson and had a nice drive over to Phoenix.

The Peoria Sports complex is an awesome experience!

Thanks for joining me Grandpa, I had a great time!  Hopefully next year we can make it to Ft Meyers.

Here is a video of our view at the game

The kids first experience with their new F150

Thanks to Uncle Stan, the kids recieved a F150 PowerWheels truck for Christmas.  It’s been in the box until this weekend when I put it together.  We had a nice break from the VERY cold weather the last few weeks as it got into the 30’s and 40’s this weekend.  Elizabeth knew about the truck as I had already showed her.

Here is a video of Joey seeing it for the first time…

Here is his first time driving the truck.  Elizabeth was kind of scared of Joey’s driving so opted not to ride.  Notice once he goes forward that he gets kicked back because he put it in high gear 🙂

Thanks again Stan!  The kids love it!!

Joey has a cast and fun with EJ at family fun day…

Well, earlier this week Joey decided to jump down a few stairs (we don’t know how many) and hurt his foot/ankle.  It’s not broken but it was painful enough that they put him in a cast for two weeks.

Tonight we had Joey stay with Grandma and Grandpa since he can’t walk with the cast 😐 and took Elizabeth to Family Fun Day at St John’s.  It was nice to have some special time with her 🙂

Fun pictures of the kids, Joey’s Christmas program and a day at the Children’s museum!

Carolyn took some pictures of the kids for our Christmas cards…

Joey had his first Christmas program.  He did a great job smiling at the crowd but didn’t sing much 🙂  After the ‘performance’ we went for ice cream to celebrate

Today we had a BLAST at the Children’s Museum.  Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for the year long pass!

(notice anything different about me?  I decided to see what I look like after years of facial hair.  I’ll just say that it’s coming back as Carolyn is scared)
