A big thanks to Matt and Candy for the tickets. Carolyn, the kids and I enjoyed a great afternoon at the Wild game today. I’m a little scared that Joey is taking a liking to hockey though! 🙂 While Joey liked the horn when the Wild scored, Elizabeth covered her ears and leaned into Mom. I really enjoyed that Joey is starting to pay attention to this stuff and look forward to many sporting events together.
Thanks again Matt and Candy, we had a great time!!
We tried to make it to Florida to see the Twins but the flights were full. With a little help from Artur and Justin (thanks guys!) we flew into Tucson and had a nice drive over to Phoenix.
I was last in the office on December 11th, I had a week long training the week of the 15th and have had the last two weeks off. I’ve really enjoyed the time with Carolyn and the kids. I’ve also been working on finishing the bathroom project that I started 6 years ago. I put the ceiling in, mirror, lighting and have been mudding/sanding. I won’t be painting this weekend like I had planned but I’ve made some good progress and should finish in the next weekend or two, a video of the current progress is below.
Some of the stuff I’ve/we’ve been doing…
We went to the Childrens’ Museum where we have a new year long pass thanks to Grandma Penni and Grandpa Joe
Playing outside in the snow and inside with new toys
The kids had a great Christmas – especially at Pat and Mike’s playing with Chloe!
Vikings made the playoffs – I don’t know that they deserve it!?
Hung out with Ted and Elizabeth
Went shooting at the range with Jon and the guys
Carolyn has been out shopping a lot
I watched the Twolves give up a 22 point lead to lose against Dallas
We celebrated New Years with our neighbors which was a blast – a bad time BTW to be without charged camera batteries
And IÂ have probably missed some stuff but good times all around!
Everyone have a great 2009!!
Here is a video of the bathroom progress… (BTW, Qik is a pretty cool technology. Checkout our mobile clips at http://qik.com/keanen)
Dan, David, Joey and I went today to the model train show at Canterbury Park. It was pretty cool to see all the hard work that these folks put into these ‘little worlds’.
Carolyn took some pictures of the kids for our Christmas cards…
Joey had his first Christmas program. He did a great job smiling at the crowd but didn’t sing much 🙂 After the ‘performance’ we went for ice cream to celebrate
Today we had a BLAST at the Children’s Museum. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for the year long pass!
(notice anything different about me? I decided to see what I look like after years of facial hair. I’ll just say that it’s coming back as Carolyn is scared)
Little Joe and I are doing some yard work with breaks of pushing on the swing, riding bikes and watching the Gophers play Purdue.
Checkout my great TV setup for football in the back on our deck 🙂
