Playing a bit of fall catch up on posting here…

Since Labor Day and the start of school, our family has been busy with sports and other activities just like many of our friends. We have enjoyed nice fall days, went to karate, karate tournaments, volleyball and dance practice, a volleyball tournament, had a visit from our niece Ruby, carved pumpkins, celebrated 14 years of marriage, and finally a birthday for a dear neighbor.

The final summer holiday weekend of the summer was a good one. We hung out in the water quite a bit, took boat rides, went geocaching when it was cooled off, made crafts, build forts from firewood, and hung out with friends.

It’s been many years since I have been able to hang out with the Hollahan’s two weeks in a row 🙂 We made it happen this summer and had them up at the cabin followed by a visit to Lake Sarah the following weekend. Everyone had a blast!

On the way home from Lake Sarah we visited the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum which both Carolyn and Elizabeth were very excited about.
