With everyone’s help, there were over 600 eggs prepared. The rain went away just in time for our hunt and we had a nice dinner with many of our neighbors.

So, we decided to fly up to Duluth for an overnight at a water park hotel. As a bonus, we were able to hang out with Kim, Aron, and the kids!

But, before it go too warm out we were able to enjoy Steve and Di’s ice rink on the lake. It reached the low 60′s by the end of the afternoon where we enjoyed sitting on lawn chairs on the ice, taking in the sun.

We were surprised to find a Geocoin in the cache that will be tracked around the world as people move it from cache to cache.

We had a smaller team of five people this year but were still able to raise over $2,200 for the Special Olympics of Minnesota. This year we went with an 80′s theme and our team name was “Cold Mess”. I was very pleased that the kids were able to come and watch this year which was a bonus along with many friends who came out to support us. We ended the evening at my parent’s house and Mom took good care of us by feeding us some goodies :)
