The kids had a blast with their cousins on Easter. We had another Easter egg hunt at Pat and Mike’s and enjoyed time with family.

Broady!!
Carolyn coordinated an Easter Egg hunt at our nearby park for our neighbors. With everyone’s help, there were over 600 eggs prepared. The rain went away just in time for our hunt and we had a nice dinner with many of our neighbors.

We did not have any real plans for spring break this year but the kids had been wanting to fly somewhere. So, we decided to fly up to Duluth for an overnight at a water park hotel. As a bonus, we were able to hang out with Kim, Aron, and the kids!

We enjoyed a wonderfully warm weekend at the cabin this weekend. But, before it go too warm out we were able to enjoy Steve and Di’s ice rink on the lake. It reached the low 60′s by the end of the afternoon where we enjoyed sitting on lawn chairs on the ice, taking in the sun.

We found a cache near our home today. Even Carolyn joined us!
We were surprised to find a Geocoin in the cache that will be tracked around the world as people move it from cache to cache.

A big thank you to our supporters!! We had a smaller team of five people this year but were still able to raise over $2,200 for the Special Olympics of Minnesota. This year we went with an 80′s theme and our team name was “Cold Mess”. I was very pleased that the kids were able to come and watch this year which was a bonus along with many friends who came out to support us. We ended the evening at my parent’s house and Mom took good care of us by feeding us some goodies

She visited my office today and sold all of the boxes that we brought
except for one and sold orders for what we ran out of. She is getting
pretty good at her sales skills
