The last couple of weekends we went camping with Carolyn’s family and the next we spent at the cabin. We really lucked out on weather both times considering there was rain back at home

The kids really enjoyed time with their cousins

The next weekend we were off to the cabin and enjoyed some really nice weather (compared to many weekends so far this summer). Nix and Jen joined us for the weekend. Nix, Big Joe, and I went on an adventure to the other lake breaking through beaver dams and bogs to get to the other side.

The kids fished, played with friends, and swam in the lake. Nix and I jumped off the dock with Elizabeth (video in photoset and below).

This morning while eating donuts he lost his first tooth. He is very proud
and excited

After working around the house all morning I enjoyed a little hammock time
with the kids in the sun.

Break out the slip-n-slide! I even went down a few times which Joey thought was pretty funny.

The grass has taken a beating this week, the kids have had the slip-n-slide out everyday this week
