Today was a big day for Elizabeth as she participated in her first communion. We were surrounded with friends and family and Elizabeth looked beautiful. We are very proud of you Elizabeth!!
After a morning of fun, we headed off to the Netzinger’s for an Easter egg hunt and a great dinner. The beautiful weather kept us outside for a majority of the time with the cousins having a blast playing together. What a great day!!

The kids started their day with discovering the treats and toys that the
Easter bunny brought for them. Since then, we have been enjoying some time
outside on this great day. We planted our garden and fired up the irrigation
system, and Joey is still in his PJ’s

After a couple of weeks mostly away from the family, we wanted to spend some
quality time so we went to the Amazing Mirror Maze at MOA. It was a lot of
fun! It was fun watching people very disoriented (myself included) and even
walking into the mirrors!
The four of us were finished going through and Joey wanted to go again. Here is a video of the craziness. All of our eyes were messed up a bit after getting out of the maze but that passed quickly
It had been a long time since I had visited Libertyville. Unfortunately, I returned to say goodbye to Grandma Helen. The family paid respects by celebrating her life and we knew that she would have loved that we were all together. It was great to see Dan, Betty, Dave, Laura, and everyone else that I have not seen in such a long time! Grandma Helen will be missed.
