The kids were coloring on the table the other day when Joey asked Elizabeth to get him some pencils. Carolyn overheard this and advised Joey that he could get them himself. Joey responded, “I don’t have to because I am the King”.
I later asked him if I was the peasant and he didn’t really respond 
We were supposed to visit KC earlier this year to watch the Twins play. Unfortunately, that didn’t work out but we finally made it to a game tonight!
The game was awesome, a comeback win with the crowd going crazy and the Sox lose to give the Twin’s the central division!
Sunday we had a great time with family and neighbors at the Fire Muster Parade. Even Murphy was there!

Grandma Penni fixed up our hair to match after our haircuts.
We were at the cabin the last two weekends. Labor Day weekend was a family weekend and all of the kids had a blast together!

Last weekend was beautiful, especially on Saturday. We were able to enjoy lots of time in the sun and spent a good part of the day on “Florida Point”. Joe and I were putting the basketball hoop back together and found out that we had it backwards Joey and Logan were able to get some good playing time in that weekend.

Joey rescued a Frisbee that had floated away. We were proud of him for not being scared to go out so far!!
Labor Day weekend. The grand kids were able to have some fun together. Grandma and Grandpa visited on Saturday. Many of us enjoyed the quiet when Mike and the kids went on a golf cart ride
The “grown ups” had a good time once the kids were down up at Dave and Vicki’s!! Having Nix and Jen up is always fun.
We woke to some fog on Sunday morning and enjoyed a (cold) swim back on Florida Point later in the afternoon. The kids weren’t phased!
